للشعر سلطة الإبداع وصياغة الأحداث بشكل مذهل ، و للشعر حضوره الأدبي الإبداعي وفي مساءات مدينة ديري الصيفية كان للشعر حضوره البهي، حيث حلقت مبدعات الشعر والإبداع في ديري و على  مسرح متحف يوم  الاحد الدامي،  بقطع شعرية بديعة.

* آبي أوليفيرا هي شاعرة اسكتلندية تعيش في ديري. و هي من أفتتحت الأمسية الشعرية  بأداء قصيدة عن الشعور بأنها نهاية العالم عندما تكون هناك كارثة كبيرة مثل الهجمات على مركز التجارة العالمي في نيويورك في 11 سبتمبر 2001 ، وأيضًا أثناء وباء فيروس كورونا عندما كان الكثير من الناس يمرضون ويصيبهم الفيروس  ويحتضرون، وما شهدته كثير من البلدان من أغلاق  لمحاولة وقف أنتشار المرض .  الذي قطع طرق وسبل  السفر بين دول  العالم.

* سو ديفان كاتبة وشاعرة  وناشطة حقوقية  تعمل  في برامج بناء السلام  ، من ايرلندا . و هي بدورها  تحدثت  عن مقطوعة أدبية من روايتها الثانية (  والحق يقال  ) من منظور فتاة من مدينة  ديري تبلغ من العمر 16 عاما تدعى تارا . كانت تتحدث عن تأثير الصدمة ، وكذلك  أيضا عن النظام الأبوي ، و الفصل العنصري  والفراغ الذي خلفه  السياسيون عندما لا يعملون  بشكل ديمقراطي.

 * في الأمسية قرأ  توني دوهرتي  ، رئيس صندوق متحف يوم الأحد الدامي  مقتطفات من كتبه التي تدور حول طفولته في ديري .. لقد جاء توني من عائلة فقيرة عندما كان هناك عنف في أيرلندا وقتل والده في  أحداث يوم الاحد الدامي  ، وقرأ مقال جديد عن جده الأكبر الذي أكتشف أنه كان جندياَ في صفوف الجيش البريطاني  وقتل في الحرب العالمية الاولى في بلجيكا.

* كانت الملكة جريس هي خاتمة الفعالية و هي موسيقية مدينة ديري،  تغني الاغاني الشعبية عن المرأة والعدالة و التأريخ و أيرلندا .  غنة بعض من أغانيها الخاصة بالاضافة الى أغنية أيرلندية مشهورة جداً تسمى ( Do Bheatha Abhaile).

كانة هذه الفعالية ضمن سلسلة فعاليات  البرنامج الثقافي الصيفي لمتحف يوم الاحد الدامي في مدينة ديري أيرلندا الشمالية.

 
Writing in the Light... Words of Hope & Resilience

Poetry has the power of creativity and the formulation of events in an amazing way, and poetry has its literary and creative presence, and in the evenings of the summer city of Derry, poetry had its splendid presence, as the creators of poetry in Derry performed on the stage of the  Bloody Sunday Museum, with wonderful poetic pieces.

*Abby Oliveira is a Scottish poet who lives in Derry. She opened the evening of poetry by performing a poem about the feeling that it is the end of the world when there is a great catastrophe like the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on  11September  2001, and also during the Corona virus epidemic when many people were sick and infected with the virus and dying, and what many witnessed Countries are locked down to try to stem the spread of the disease, which has severed global travel ties.

*Sue Devane is a writer, poet, and human rights activist working in the peace program, from Ireland. She tells a piece of fiction from her second novel ( Truth Be Told ) from the perspective of a 16-year-old Derry girl named Tara. She was talking about the impact of trauma, but also about patriarchy, apartheid and the vacuum left by politicians when they don't work democratically.

 * In the evening, Tony Doherty, chairman of the Bloody Sunday Trust, read excerpts from his books about his childhood in Derry. Tony came from a poor family when there was violence in Ireland and his father was killed in the events of Bloody Sunday, and he read a new article about his great-grandfather, who discovered that he was a soldier in the ranks of the British army and  he was killed in the First World War in Belgium.

  *Queen Grace was the finalist of the event. She is a Derry musician who sings popular songs about women, justice, history and Ireland. She sang some of her own songs as well as a very famous Irish song called( Do Bheatha Abhaile)

This event was part of the summer cultural program series of the Bloody Sunday Museum in Derry, Northern Ireland.
